Where to find a flip house?
You’ll want to do your homework. Research the area, study sold prices, and get a feel for what buyers are looking for. Network with a great agent who is aware of properties in your area and can do much of this work for you. They can also calculate your expected rate of return on a particular property.
Must haves for a flip
If it’s your first flip, look for a decent floor plan (nothing too quirky), a newer build, the right location, and easy value-add potential (new flooring, paint, appliances, yard work, etc.).
